UR Huye students in development activities for people

The University of Rwanda Huye Campus students attended a community work, umuganda which took place at Kamonyi District, Nyarubaka sector. This activity made in partnership with the residents and was attended by a Southern Province Governor along with other different officials.

 

The monhtly community work, umuganda has been becoming a routine for Rwandans of different levels all over the country. On this last Saturday of July, the University of Rwanda Huye Campus students attended a community work, Umuganda at Kamonyi district. This community work was organized by Southern Province management in partnership with Kamonyi district. The DUSAF association members and other students of UR Huye Campus together with Nyarubaka sector residents and officials did different activities.

The Southern Province Governor, Mrs Alice Kayitesi attended this community work

The attendants of this work bricked and built a house of accommodation to a resident in Nyarubaka sector. Jean Marie Vianney Nkubito had been built a house for accommodation as he has been living witjh his family in inappropriate house for long.

The Governor of Southern Province Mrs. Kayitesi Alice reminded the people of their responsibility to pay mutual health insurance by time as the way of safeguarding their health. She also added that they have to work together for building for themselves a wealthy and developed country.

This community work was also attended by Commander of the army at the Southern Province level, Major General Ruvusha Emmanuel, Police Commander in Southern Province, Mayor of Kamonyi district, Dr Nahayo Sylivère even other officials of different positions.
